The Parish Nurse is a registered nurse who facilitates the holistic health of the congregation by developing a practice in response to the unique needs and priorities of the congregation and its members across the life span. The Parish Nurse functions as an educator, a counselor, a referral agent and an advocate as well as a hands on practitioner of care.
“Our Focus”
The focus of the Parish Nurse Ministry of Zion is to strengthen the individual, the family and the community through Christ’s love and to foster the healing touch of Jesus be reaching out to one another.
