About Us
Zion Lutheran Church is a Christian community witnessing to the gospel of Jesus Christ in the heart of Long Valley, New Jersey since 1760. In 2010 we look forward to celebrating our 250th Anniversary.
Zion is a welcoming congregation of 600. We are a diverse congregation reaching out to young and old. Many of our members were not raised Lutheran but have found in Zion a vibrant believing community.
Zion is a member of the New Jersey Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran church in America.
As Lutherans we confess Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior as we celebrate God’s gift of grace. We are a church of Word and Sacrament equally stressing the word of God revealed in the Bible and the sacraments of Holy Baptism and Communion.
