Middle School Students

Our Junior Youth Group is a program for grades 6 through 8. A lively group of youngsters meet regularly for discussions, retreats, community service, and just plain fun! Water floats down the river, lock-ins, scavenger hunts, softball games, and community service are just a few of the events that have taken place.

We invite all Middle School students to join us.

 High School Students

 High school students gather together every other Sunday of the month in the Parish Center at 7:00 pm. The group is centered around service and outreach to others. They are currently working with the homeless in Morristown and serving with Habitat for Humanity. One retreat away is scheduled each year during the winter months.

We invite all high school youth to join us.

Every three years a nationwide Youth Gathering is sponsored by the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. This is an opportunity for our youth to truly experience the “Power” of youth. Thousands of Lutheran youth group members gather together and celebrate their shared belief in Jesus Christ, through worship, workshops, music and fellowship.

Zion Lutheran Church encourages the High School members of our youth group to attend this Gathering, and on their return to share their stories with others. 

The next Gathering will be in New Orleans in July 2009.
